Key Workflows

Sending a Popup Alert

  1. Navigate to the Alerts page and click the "Send Alert" tab
  2. Select "Popup" as the delivery method (default option)
  3. Choose recipients by searching and selecting team members from the user list
  4. Enter a clear, concise alert title
  5. Select priority level: Info, Warning, or Urgent
  6. Write your message with full details
  7. Optionally link a related item (order, product, etc.)
  8. Click "Send Alert" - recipients see the popup immediately
  9. Monitor read rates in the "Sent Alerts" tab

Sending an Email Alert

  1. Navigate to the Alerts page and click the "Send Alert" tab
  2. Select "Email" as the delivery method
  3. Add primary recipients to the "To" field (required)
  4. Optionally add recipients to CC field for visibility
  5. Optionally add recipients to BCC field for hidden recipients
  6. Enter alert title and select priority level
  7. Write your email message with full details
  8. Optionally include a link to a related business item
  9. Click "Send Alert" - single email sent to all recipients
  10. Recipients can forward, reply, or CC others as needed

Managing Received Alerts

  1. Incoming alerts appear in your "My Alerts" tab
  2. Popup alerts also show notification on screen with bell icon
  3. Use sub-filters to view "All", "Unread", or "Read" alerts
  4. Click any alert card to view full details and message
  5. For popup alerts, click "Mark as Read" to acknowledge and update read status
  6. Or click "Read Later" to dismiss popup without marking read
  7. For email alerts, your mailbox handles the delivery and read tracking
  8. Access related items directly from alert details for quick navigation

Tracking Alert Performance

  1. Click the "Sent Alerts" tab to view all alerts you've sent
  2. Dashboard stats show total sent alerts and average read rate
  3. Each sent alert card displays delivery method and recipient count
  4. Visual progress bar shows read rate percentage
  5. For email alerts, see breakdown of To, CC, and BCC recipients
  6. Click on any sent alert to expand and see full details
  7. Use this data to understand team engagement and follow-up needs

Multi-Tenancy Alert Management

  1. If you are an Admin: Site selector dropdown appears in Send Alert form
  2. Select the target site/organization from the dropdown
  3. Only users from selected site appear in recipient list
  4. You can see alerts sent to any site in your "Sent Alerts" view
  5. If you are Non-Admin: Site selector is hidden (automatic site)
  6. Only users from your assigned site appear as potential recipients
  7. You can only send alerts to your own site and see your site's alerts
  8. Both receive alerts targeted to them regardless of role
