Key Workflows

Creating a Performance Goal

  1. Navigate to the Performance Evaluation page and click "Create Goal"
  2. Enter a clear, descriptive goal title
  3. Add detailed description explaining the goal's purpose and expectations
  4. Select evaluation period: Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly
  5. Set target date for goal completion
  6. Choose visibility: Private (only assigned users) or Public (all team members)
  7. Select team members to assign the goal to (optional for public goals)
  8. Click "Create Goal" to save and make it active
  9. Assigned users will see the goal in their "Assigned To Me" section

Tracking Goal Progress

  1. View all your goals in the appropriate section (Created, Assigned, Public)
  2. Click on any goal card to view full details and current status
  3. Check the analytics dashboard for overall performance metrics
  4. Monitor completion rates, feedback trends, and status distribution
  5. Use filters to view goals by status, evaluation period, or date range
  6. Review goals in "Needs Attention" section for overdue or low-rated items
  7. Track progress through visual charts and statistics

Providing Feedback and Replies

  1. Open a goal to view its details and current status
  2. Click "Add Reply" or "Provide Feedback" button
  3. Enter your update, question, or feedback in the text area
  4. Optionally rate the goal performance (1-5 stars) if providing feedback
  5. Submit your reply - it will be visible to goal creator and assigned users
  6. View all replies and feedback in chronological order
  7. Engage in discussions to clarify expectations and track progress

Analyzing Performance Metrics

  1. Access the Analytics dashboard at the top of the Performance Evaluation page
  2. Review summary statistics: total goals, completion rate, average feedback
  3. View status distribution chart showing Open vs Reviewed goals
  4. Analyze feedback distribution to understand performance satisfaction
  5. Check completion trends over time to identify patterns
  6. Review reply rate metrics to measure engagement
  7. Identify top contributors and most active team members
  8. Use insights to improve goal-setting and performance management

Managing Goals Needing Attention

  1. Navigate to the "Needs Attention" section
  2. Review overdue goals that have passed their target dates
  3. Check goals without replies that need engagement
  4. Identify low-rated goals (below 3 stars) requiring improvement
  5. Click on any goal to view details and take action
  6. Provide feedback, extend deadlines, or update goal status as needed
  7. Follow up with assigned team members to ensure progress
  8. Mark goals as Reviewed when completed or resolved

Editing and Updating Goals

  1. Open a goal you created to view its details
  2. Click "Edit Goal" button to modify goal information
  3. Update title, description, evaluation period, or target date
  4. Change visibility settings or reassign team members
  5. Save changes - all assigned users will see the updated information
  6. Use edit functionality to keep goals aligned with changing priorities
